​Hi! I am Airamanda, a hairdresser, small business owner, mom of 3 AND the owner of Alchemy Beauty Bookkeeping. At the age of 15 my beauty business journey began. I worked in a salon as a receptionist, and shampoo assistant. 3 years later I went to beauty school and started an apprentice program. As a lot of us in the beauty industry know, we gain a lot of experience working in different roles around the salon. With time and experience my books were full, and I was gaining guests like crazy. In 2009 I took the leap and become an independent stylist.

The salon roles came easy to me, receptionist, assistant, stylist, inventory and ordering. These were all hats that I wore previously. The learning curve for me was bookkeeping and finance, business licenses, taxes and incorporation. The first handful of years, I hired out someone because my focus was growing my business, guests and brand. After that was under control, I wanted to be more involved and I was eager to learn. I have worked closely with my CPA for the last 12 years, have taken courses in book keeping and finance, taken dozens of small business classes and realized I LOVE the business side of it.

Fast forward to Covid when I realized how there was SUCH A NEED for independent salons and stylists to have more help with their businesses, help with better organization, to see their numbers better, and to have better integration across all platforms.  This is how Alchemy Beauty Bookkeeping was born.

Although I specialize in the Beauty business, I work with all small business' and am happy to help everyone, in any industry, with their book keeping needs. 

Alchemy is The magical process of transformation, creation or combination. Blending your business and accounting together is a blend that needs to happen but the right person can help you do it.
